SPoRTS Course gets GIC accreditation

GREAT NEWS!

The Immediate Care Training Standard Principles of Resuscitation & Trauma in Sport (SPoRTS) Course has been awarded Generic Instructor Course (GIC) status.

The GIC is approved and accredited by the United Kingdom Resuscitation Council and the Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG).

This course is also recognised by the European Resuscitation Council and the Academy of Medical Educators.

So, this means that any candidate who attends the SPoRTS course and is identified as having instructor potential can follow the GIC process and become a full SPoRTS course instructor
